Practice

The focus of my teaching has always been on guiding my students towards unleashing the healing power which resides within each one of us. By providing a safe space, both in time and place, I take my yogis on a journey of increased awareness and mindful presence, where body, mind and spirit unite. It is amazing how one practice can offer such an integrated approach to working our whole being – body, mind, and soul: the asanas benefit and improve the fitness and physical flexibility with a secondary effect on the mental state, while the pranayama (breathing) practices and meditation techniques result in deeper awareness, reduced stress, and higher well-being and quality of life.

While my teaching is gentle, restorative and nourishing, I always design my classes to meet the needs and energy of those whom I teach, which is to say if you need your butt kicked by a power vinyasa flow, I’m up for the challenge.

It is my strong belief that the yoga practice can teach each and every one of us how to unravel the things that hold us back – weaknesses and fears, bring us closer to the healing light shinning within our hearts, and show us how to trust our intuition in using this light to liberate and heal ourselves.
