Join this class to learn appropriate yoga poses and modifications for safely strengthening the body and mind during pregnancy. Enter a serene and nurturing environment created to allow you to stretch and strengthen muscles, energize the body, and relieve stress and anxiety. This class will help to soothe the common discomforts of pregnancy and develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques, which are great tools to have during labor and the postpartum period.
Thursdays 1.15p – 2.15p || Postnatal Yoga (pre-crawlers)
This class will focus on therapeutic applications of poses and breathing to deal with the common postpartum discomforts. It is designed to help you regain your pelvic floor and core strength, release stress, and realign all those over-worked muscles that come from lifting, holding, and caring for your little one. The nourishing sequences will help to increase endurance, strengthen the entire body, and release neck and shoulder tension, while relaxing the nervous system and reducing fatigue. Your pre-walking babies are welcome to join you but they will not be actively incorporated into the class.
